What is AGLYP?
AGLYP (“A Girl Like You” Project) is a student-led effort founded by high school students that aims to help bridge our community’s STEM gender gap with interviews of strong female role models in our local STEM workforce. We hope to compile these interviews to feature a diverse range of women and STEM careers in an informative picture book aimed to both educate and inspire young girls.
"Don't let anyone rob you of your imagination, your creativity, or your curiosity. It's your place in the world; its your life. Go on and do all you can with it, and make it the life you want to live."
― Mae Jemison, first African American woman astronaut in space
